Is there parking nearby?

There's a Wilson Secure car park in the Wunderlich Precinct, with entry from Baptist Street or Marriot Street. Please note we don't validate parking. There's plenty of street parking within walking distance of the precinct.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Our chefs are very accommodating with dietary requirements. We can easily cater for gluten free, dairy free, nut free, vegan and vegetarian diets. Please let us know in advance about any dietary requirements or allergies, especially if they're uncommon or life-threatening. Add a note to your booking, or we'll do our best to accommodate you on the day.

Do groups need to order a set menu?

We ask that groups of [8] or more dine on our set menu. It's the best way to try a little of everything, and it lets you sit back, relax and enjoy your time together. When dining on a set menu, the whole table must take part.

Can children come?

Yes, children are always welcome. Please let us know in advance if you need a high chair.

Can I bring a pram?

Please give us as much notice as you can when dining with prams. With enough notice, we can make anything happen. Please include children and prams in your total guest numbers when booking. For example, a booking for 6 with a pram should be made for 7 people.

Is Baptiste wheelchair accessible?

Yes via Baptist Street direct street entry. Please let us know in advance if you need wheelchair access, so we can make sure you, your guests and the surrounding tables are all comfortable.

Can I just drop in for a drink?

Absolutely! We are a place to eat AND drink. Our bar welcomes walk-ins for a glass of wine or an aperitif.

Why do you need my credit card details?

You'll be asked for credit card details to secure your booking. They're entered into a secure platform and held until 48 hours after your booking. Your details can't be accessed, and are only used in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. Please let us know about any changes to your booking with plenty of notice to avoid unnecessary charges. The card details stored with your booking can't be used to pay your bill.

What is your cancellation policy? [FLAG]

We understand plans can change. Please let us know if you need to cancel or change your booking at least [24 / 72] hours beforehand to avoid a cancellation fee of $50 per person. Groups of 20 or more need to give [7 / 14] days' notice in writing, and venue buyouts 21 days' notice in writing, to avoid cancellation fees.

Is there a service charge?

A 7% service charge is added to the bill for groups of 8 or more. It goes directly to the team working on the day.

Can we split the bill?

We're happy to split your bill, but we can't split it by item. Please allow plenty of time to settle the bill at the end of your booking.

Can I bring a cake?

We love celebrations! You're welcome to bring your own cake, with no charge to serve it. Just let us know in advance. For larger tables, we recommend two smaller cakes, so we can serve one while the table sings happy birthday. We're also happy to put a candle in a dessert for the birthday guest.

Can I bring decorations?

Small floral arrangements and place cards are welcome. Unfortunately, we can't allow balloons, glitter or confetti. As we're a restaurant, please make sure all table decorations are family friendly.

Can I bring my own wine?

We're a fully licensed venue with a wine list built for long lunches, so we don't offer BYO.

Can I bring my dog?

We can welcome pets out the front on Baptist Street, service animal are welcome indoors.
